HandsOn Northeast Georgia is working to organize
more Family Friendly volunteer opportunities!
Our
goal is to coordinate at least one project a month
that is safe and fun for families, especially those
with younger children, to get engaged.
June Project-
HandsOn With Dad
This annual
event will take place at Sandy Creel Park on
Saturday, June 20th from 10a- 1p (lunch included).
The event will feature a number of beautification
and clean-up projects around the park, including
trail maintenance and a canoe litter clean-up.

July Project-
No project is
scheduled for July. The FamilyServe Committee
is currently setting the projects for 2009-2010
FamilyServe Project calendar.

The FamilyServe is
currently looking for volunteers to join the
steering committee. The committee works to
identify projects in the community, assist with
recruiting families to participate, and collecting
supplies to support the projects. If you would like
to join the committee, please contact

Grigsby, FamilyServe Chair.
