Hands
On Northeast Georgia's Citizen Academy offers
various educational classes, volunteer orientations,
and leadership workshops to help you become a
knowledgeable citizen in of the community!
Citizen Academy is a year-round series of courses and programs designed
to educate and inspire us to become more active in
our community. Citizen Academy provides a forum that
unites participants and community leaders to examine
our society’s greatest challenges and to gain the
skills we need to overcome them.
Whether engaging in a lively debate, learning how to
write a grant, watching a thought-provoking film,
or attending orientation to learn more about a
program, the Citizen Academy courses encourage
participants to exchange ideas and
explore new avenues for progress.
